Rather the point on the demand curve changes. The law of demand states that demand must downward sloping because as price goes down, the quantity demanded goes up. This is true with the example of a all you can eat buffet or free refills. Because the price for additional food or another drink decreases the quantity of food or drink increases. Price is an obstacle to most and it makes sense to buy less a higher prices. When someone is informed of a sale the amount that they will buy increases. Like wise, when price goes up the quantity demanded goes down. If it costs more for refills or to get more food you will eat less because of the increase in price.","replyPages":[{"page":0,"digests":[],"more":0}]}],"more":false},"comments":[]},"http":{"code":200,"status":"OK"},"redirectUrl":null,"javascript":null,"notices":{"warning":[],"error":[],"info":[],"success":[]}}
